All That Jazz: Boys & Girls Club of Ventura's 41st Annual Great Auction

resented by E. J. Harrison & Sons, Inc., this annual event raised over $150,000 to support programs for young people in Ventura, Saticoy, and Oak View. The evening included a Count Basie champagne reception sponsored by Lynnís Jewelry Studio and Sheila Fattarelli; an Artie Shaw Silent Auction sponsored by Santa Barbara Bank & Trust; a Preservation Hall gourmet dinner sponsored by Fashion Forms; a raffle for an original piece of jewelry designed by Lynnís Jewelry; and a Miles Davis live auction sponsored by Kipp Brant Drummond & Associates. Auction co-chairs were Ellyn Dembowski and Lynda Girtsman, with former Los Angeles Dodger baseball player Jay Johnstone acting as Master of Ceremonies.
