“Evening in Wonderland” Recognition Gala

n March 2, the Greater Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce hosted an “Evening in Wonderland” to honor local businesses and individuals for their contributions to the community. The gala, held at Calamigos Ranch, featured live entertainment by illusionist Jason Latimer and was emceed by Westlake Village City Manager Ray Taylor and Councilmember Brad Halpern — who dressed up as the Mad Hatter and Alice in honor of the occasion. Winners included Ventura County Credit Union (Business of the Year), Haider Alawami and Dianne McKay (Man and Woman of the Year), Thousand Oaks Boulevard Association (Nonprofit), Michael Reardon (Ambassador), Frances Brough (Volunteer) and Chatsworth Productions Inc. (Corporate Sponsor).
